My Upcoming Biking Adventures

This July is a celebration of two wheels, open trails, and unforgettable Iowa landscapes. I kicked things off with rides on the High Trestle Trail and the Raccoon River Valley Trail—two of the most scenic and well-loved bike paths in the Midwest. From the stunning High Trestle Bridge lit up at night to the quiet countryside loops of the Raccoon River Valley, it was the perfect warm-up for what came next: RAGBRAI.

The finale will be a weeklong ride across Iowa with thousands of fellow cyclists, tackling the 2025 RAGBRAI route. It will be a mix of challenge, camaraderie, small-town charm, and nonstop movement under the summer sun. July 2025 isn’t just about mileage—it’s about momentum, joy, and the adventure of pushing forward.

The week after RAGBRAI concludes I’m off to Des Moines, IA for the National Senior Games.
